In-folio of [4], 22 pp. 20 culs-de-lampe and 160 gr. h.-t., including title and frontispiece. Red half-chagrin, long spine, gilt title, slipcase. First edition, complete with 160 engravings, most on chine appliqué, one on gray paper (85) and another on blue paper (86). Unavoidable foxing in the margins of the plates and in the text, small marginal wetness at the beginning of the copy without affecting either the text or the engravings; spine insolate, small crack in one corner of the slipcase.
