About

With degrees in law and art history from the Sorbonne and the Ecole du Louvre, I qualified as an auctioneer (voluntary and judicial) in 2009.

I worked for more than 10 years in auction houses in Paris, at Hôtel Drouot, and at Artcurial, where I was Deputy Director of the Inventories & Collections department: I had the opportunity to carry out hundreds of inventories in the context of inheritance, with a view to a division, a sale or even for insurance purposes, with a variety of contacts: collectors, notaries, lawyers, private bankers, etc.

vente 2017

Among the landmark sales I have organised and directed are that of the Alphonse & Hélène Kann collection in February 2017 at Artcurial (€2.3 million including fees) and the sale of the furniture from the Hôtel de Paris in Monaco (January 2015 - 3,500 lots) and the Plaza Athénée in 2013.

In 2018 I was appointed judicial auctioneer in September 2018 in Besançon, my home town, and set up my auction house there in January 2021.

Ingrid Tsivahiny, who has a background in law and a degree in intellectual property law, joined me at the end of 2021 as a clerk.

Our sales are organised between Besançon (around ten sales a year) and Paris, where we have held four sales since the firm was founded: a Louis Féraud Haute Couture wardrobe and Dior jewellery, the contents of a fine Parisian flat on Avenue Niel, the Carnot library, in 2022; and in 2023, the contents of the Norman home of a decorator, at Hôtel Drouot.

In Besançon, we organise auctions for all specialities, with a particular focus on jewellery, watches, regional paintings, fashion and accessories, and collectables.

Twice a year, we hold sales devoted to watchmaking and Lip (including a major collection of 250 Lip watches in November 2021, which fetched almost €100,000 and sold 100% of the lots), and to Comtois regionalism and antiquarian books.
