Wooden box containing steel balance springs, with nomenclatu - Lot 151
Wooden box containing steel balance springs, with nomenclature and a handwritten card from Mr. TRINCANO to Mr. Dessay. Adolphe Trincano, brother of Louis, was director of L'Horlo, and himself patron of the Spiraux Français in Besançon. The card is addressed to Albert Dessay, who was a teacher at the same "Horlo", an engineer, but above all an exceptional setter for Leroy, for major Swiss companies and for Lip. He won numerous chronometry prizes and was entrusted with many missions, such as that of pre-empting for the Besançon museum the most beautiful pieces from the Pierre Grenaud collection exhibited in the Louvre before their sale at Drouot, as special envoy of the "Grande Mademoiselle", Lucie Cornillot.
