Paris, E. Nourry, 1927. Small in-8° of x, 137 pp. front. and 4 woodcuts in the text, bandeaux. Blue half-maroquin, spine with 5 false nerves, gilt title, speckled edges, bistre cover preserved. An essential collection of Comtois recipes. Cheese soup, frog soup, cherry soup, gaudes, mushrooms, frogs, crayfish, snails, pochouze, woodcocks, sauces (including the infernal sauce), Droz ham, quiches, galettes (including the goumeau one), cheeses, jams, liqueurs (including the maquevin [sic]), etc. Enriched with a suite of 3 prints of the 1st cover, one in bistre, the two others in black. Minor foxing, spine insolate. A good copy.
