The Printing House was established by Bonaparte in Egypt, between June 1798 and November 1801, thanks to the material of the French national printing house and the polyglot printing house of the Sacra Congregazione da Propaganda Fide, in Rome. Its first director Jean-Joseph Marcel (1776-1854), printer of the Egyptian expedition, also published the orders and proclamations of General Bonaparte as well as the periodicals "Le Courrier de l'Egypte" and "La Décade égyptienne". Year VIII: holes to the cover which presents the year "Year VIII" in pen with numerical operations and annotations ("After a god / Gods / Godsilliary / Bonapire"); small wetness to the title. Year IX: the cover shows some tears without gravity, and "Year IX" in pen on the 1st cover (ink has crossed the paper) with some schematic lines, brown stain pp. 29-30. Good copies that have been used, which makes them all the more interesting.
