[REVUE]. La Revue de Franche-Comté, Besançon : S. n., 1907. - Lot 21
[REVUE]. La Revue de Franche-Comté, Besançon : S. n., 1907. 12 n° in 1 large vol. in-8 (19,5 x 26 cm) of 384 p. Half vellum, spine ribbed and decorated, black leather title page, covers preserved (except for n°2). The entirety of this luxury magazine dedicated to Franche-Comté, which only appeared in this year 1907. The contributions are unpublished. It is a luxury magazine, demanding on the form since "printed on beautiful matte laid paper, in Elzévirien characters"; each number containing "in addition to its 48 pages of text in-4°, one or more plates out of text which will be the reproduction of a work of a painter of Franche-Comté". It is also a demanding journal in terms of content, due to the "personality of its contributors", and the "sacrifice of these administrators" for the "artistic edition of this publication". The claimed objective is to "group the effort and talent of those who, in the province of Comte, are interested in letters, arts and sciences". The meaning of this editorial enterprise is that of a "new attempt at intellectual decentralisation".
