ORMOND (Marie-Marguerite). Résonnances. Geneva, Atar, 1919. In-8°, 66 pp. and [2] ff. Full tan basane, smooth spine, gilt title throughout, gilt fillet and roulette on boards, gilt title on upper board, gilt head, covers preserved. (Asper).
A rare work.
Autograph letter signed by the author "To Marie and Gérard de Watteville, in memory of the author's deep affection. M. M. Ormond. Xbre 1919." Original autograph poem entitled "Ma rose", "Anniversaire de sa naissance, 5 9bre 1919".
The portrait of the poetess can be found on a medal in the Musée d'Orsay, or painted by John Singer SARGENT or Albert ANKER. Binding rubbed, head cap missing, interior fresh.
