Gold and enamel oval snuffbox, SWITZERLAND or GERMANY, early 19th century, with two compartments, the lid and body with a blue background embellished with gilded stars, surrounded by white or orange enameled friezes, the body with a chased and enameled background. Prestige hallmarks on the base and lid, engraved with a fleur-de-lys and 1326 on the lid rim. Length 9.5 cm. Width 5.4 cm. Height 2.2 cm Gross weight: 135.50 gr. (Significant wear and scratches, missing enamel)
