Speckled tan half-basin, long spine, tan morocco t.p. with green corners, gilt tom., green speckled edges (Binding of the period). "Rare and curious" (Aligny). The author is a forester of Breton origin. His trip to the Jura takes place in the aftermath of the French Revolution, which makes this account invaluable for the history of the Jura. Binding rubbed with minor worm damage to the spine, interior fresh.
