In-4°, 404 pp. including 25 tables, one of which is a fold-out. Half violet calf with corners, spine with 4 faux-nerfs à la grotesque, gilt title, gilt fillet on covers, marbled edges (Lebrun, 1853). WATTEVILLE DU GRABE was Inspector General of Administrative Services for the Ministry of the Interior. The "1ère partie" on the title does not appear to have been followed by a second part. From the library of the author's sons, Oscar and Olivier de WATTEVILLE, with engraved bookplate. Spine unstained, binding rubbed with small leather loss to upper board, small tear without loss to fold-out table, a good copy however.
