SAM Nautic 1.24, circa 1940-1947 Wristwatch with round chromed case, silver-grey dial, black numeral markers, small seconds at 6 o'clock, I 24 mechanical movement, black leather strap. D. 29 mm (Wear to case, scratches to crystal, appears to be in working order, needs servicing) The calibre I (for Issoudun) 24 (its diameter) was developed during the Second World War and marketed from 1941. It is the only French watch movement designed and manufactured during the Second World War.
