BREITLING for Amerigo Vespucci Men's wristwatch, round steel case, unidirectional rotating bezel, white dial, baton hour markers and date window at 3 o'clock, quartz movement, engraved on the caseback "DPW - Made by Breitling for Amerigo Vespucci" and N°76486, black leather strap. D. 38 mm (Works, battery replaced) This is a military watch created for the Italian navy cadets of the sailing school ship "Amerigo Vespucci". The DPW company (Diving and Professional Watches, located in Genoa, Italy since 1979) assembled timepieces reserved for the Italian government's prestigious military and sports markets. Produced in small series, they were marketed exclusively and directly to the military and sportsmen and women concerned by the customization. DPW mainly fitted Breitling and Eberhard watches. (Working, battery replaced in October 2024)
