[TARDIEU, MONTELLE]. Carte de L'Isle de Cuba et des Isles Lu - Lot 193
[TARDIEU, MONTELLE]. Carte de L'Isle de Cuba et des Isles Lucayes. [Paris, ca. 1800]. (33.3 x 44 cm. vat, sheet: 49.5 x 64.4 cm). Watercolor outlines. Engraved by TARDIEU after ANDRE. Rare map of Cuba, the Bahamas and the southern tip of Florida. From MENTELLE's Atlas Universel, published in Paris in 1798, although this example lacks the bluish tint typical of MENTELLE's maps, suggesting an earlier publication date. N° 161-138. Some foxing, mainly marginal, central fold.
