Eugène Jaquet was director of the École d'Horlogerie de Genève from around 1920 until 1943. He was also President of the Société Suisse de Chronométrie, President of the Classe d'Industrie of the Société des Arts, and Curator of the Watchmaking Collections of the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire de Genève.
