[DELISLE DE SALES, Jean-Baptiste-Claude Isoard, dit]. Théâtre d'un poète de Sybaris, translated for the first time from the Greek, with comments, variants and notes, to serve as a supplement to the Théâtre des Grecs, À Sybaris, and found in Paris, at the bookshops selling novelties, 1788. 3 volumes in-18 of [4], LVIII, 179 p. ; [4], LX, 166 p. ; [4], p. 167 to 367, IV p. A very good copy printed on bluish paper (tear in one cover, worm hole in the foot of another and three corners dulled). First edition of this supposed translation according to found manuscripts. This so-called translation is in reality the work of Delisle de Sales (born in Lyon in 1743, died in Paris in 1816), a long-ignored polygrapher.
